Nariño like all Colombia has a one of the biggest Natural diversity in the world, his flora, fauna, and weather making of this place the perfect land to live, rest, work, and enjoy the life.

The warm air currents from the Pacific Ocean, together with the sunlight are what allow for coffee production at the higher altitudes of the Andes of Nariño.

The production of coffe, the conservation and sustainability of the environmental are fundamental for economy. Some species trees are important for production and optimizatión of coffe.

Dry forests are distributed at altitudes of between 0 and 1000 masl, with temperatures higher than 24°C and rainfall of between 700 and 2000 mm per year.
Nariño has a tropical savanna climate with dry winters. The area of this station is covered by croplands, forests, grasslands, shrublands, and tundra.

The temperature in Nariño varies from 14°C to 25°C and is rarely below 14°C or above 26°C.
